Change Strategy

If you’ve already decided what needs changing and how you want to go about it, our change strategy is the perfect partner piece for your project. Because innovation and even process changes don’t exist in a silo, for change to be really effective, you need to address the human response to change.

Where business strategy will look at what we want to change and how we want to change it (ie the new tool or process, market or demographic), a change management strategy looks at how we want to implement the change so that it’s well received and long lasting with as little resistance or protest as possible. It examines how best to modify the change, perception or environment to give it the best chance of long lasting success.

Our change strategies will provide you with:

  • Recommendations about how to present your change. Following a deep analysis combining both qualitative and quantitative measures, this can include things like when to present it, the scale at which it’s implemented and the messaging and messengers
  • Design strategies for how to boost your likelihood of success based on an understanding of the likely points of resistance. Whether designing change, training and communications strategies or exploring techniques from behavioural science for modifying the environment, we’ll work with you to build a framework to carry you through to the end of the project and into the post implementation monitoring phase.

Case studies

UK Technology Transformation Programme

Working within the transformation team on a department wide transformation, we were embedded in this multi-national company to design and deliver a change strategy and staff training on a new mobile application and report writing software as part of a new ways of working initiative.

Company Acquisitions & Staff Integration

Wanting to expand the company’s offerings, this project explored the industry landscape in Victoria and more widely Australia to help identify suitable companies for purchase. On acquisition, a subsequent strategy was developed to assist with staff integration and organisational restructure.

Business Opportunity Assessment

Looking at existing international processes along with feedback from a recent government led review, we were engaged to conduct a preliminary review of the existing landscape to create a preliminary strategic piece explored potential offerings of a new organisation.
